Daily Breu, Bandung: Small, Family-Owned Cafe

There’s a trend in Bandung coffee shops to be as modern and clinical as possible. And not everyone likes that. I do, but I do like variety as well. And Daily Breu gives us that variety.

Attached to the Bread Corner shop, Daily Breu is a small family run coffee shop that is well designed, but not in the ultra modern way that many cafes now demand. And that’s a good thing.Daily Breu CoffeeI had a large cappuccino here and it was really good. Susan had a peppermint tea and she appreciated that addition of some real mint leaves and a bit of honey. Too often in Bandung cafes, they just give you a tea bag and hot water. Here they don’t.Coffee And Tea At Daily BreuWe also ordered some toast with jam and that was enjoyable. More than I expected.Toast At Daily BreuThe wifi here is quite fast at 18mbps down and 2mbps up and the tables each have their own power point. A good place to open the laptop and get work done.

A good little cafe on the Bandung scene suitable for a little bit of laptop work, hanging out with friends or just enjoying the coffee.
