Black Ground is another one of those coffee shops which is attached to an auto shop. It’s an interesting concept where they believe customers at the auto shop will hang out in the coffee shop as their car is being detailed. I’m not sure it works that well, to be honest, but that doesn’t stop Black Ground being a good coffee shop in its own right.
I had what they call a magic cappuccino. I think they mean magic. Anyway, it was excellent. Great temperature, good texture on the milk and quite strong. A top coffee.
Susan enjoyed her creme brûlée latte and reckons it was one of the better ones she’s had.
The fitout of the place is quite good for working with lots of tables and electricity sockets. Better still, the wifi is one of the fastest we’ve tried in Bandung with 30mbps down and 30mbps. Even the biggest YouTube upload within about 5 minutes here.
They also do a range of food here such as rice, Western and pasta. It looked pretty decent but we didn’t try it. Prices are lower than average for Bandung.
