Wow. How surprising to find a place doing good modern Indonesian food. It’s so rare in Bandung to get good modern Indonesian food that I never thought I’d see it.
But here we are. Akasya Teras is serving up perhaps the best cafe style Indonesian food in Bandung. I had the nasi goreng kampung and it was extremely spicy but also extremely tasty. The portion was quite large as well. Susan’s ayam telur asin was excellent as was the keciwis.
I was also surprised at the coffee. It was also excellent. I didn’t expect good coffee here because it’s more like a restaurant place. But my cappuccino was perfectly hot, great textured milk and just strong enough for my liking.
This cafe is actually located in the same property as my old favourite Bandung restaurant, Fashion Pasta. After they closed down, I guess Akasya took over.
The wifi here is fast making it a perfect place to come and work. 25mbps down and 6mbps.
Love this place for food, coffee and getting work done.
